Emerald Awards

The EMERALD AWARD is BOMA’s inaugurated green/sustainability award program which celebrates high performance and energy efficient buildings. The categories are:

  • Recycling and Environmentally Preferred Purchasing
  • Energy Use
  • Water Use
  • Green Cleaning/Indoor Air Quality

CONGRATULATIONS to the 2011 Emerald Award Winners!

To submit your property for this award, the following steps must be completed by the application deadline:

Step 1: Review the entire contents of the Program Overview, including the Category Descriptions, Sample Program Descriptions, and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

Step 2: Complete the Program Statement (see page 3 for instructions).

Step 3: Complete the Registration Form (see below for instructions). Application fees will be collected upon submission of the Registration Form. Payments may be made via credit card (Mastercard or Visa) or check. An email receipt will be generated when you submit your payment.

Step 4: Email an electronic copy of the Program Statement to barbara@boma-sv.org. If possible, please convert your Program Statement into a PDF document prior to submitting. You will receive an email confirmation of receipt within 2 days of your submission (please contact the Awards Program Manager if you do not receive a receipt within this time).

Step 5: Email one photograph of the entry site to the Program Manager for use at the awards presentation and in promotional materials for the Emerald Awards. By emailing the photograph you give consent for BOMA Silicon Valley to use the photograph at the awards presentation, in the BOMA newsletter and in any promotional materials for the Emerald Awards.
